Surge Control Systems are piping and valve control systems which control hydraulic jumps of liquids in pipelines due to valves slamming shut on terrain effects.

The systems are unique in that they utilize valves with very fast response times to open at first indication of surge and dump the product to an outlet line which may then be put back into tank storage.
