The facility of Khariyaga Primary Oil Treatment system in Komi Republic of Russia is designed
to handle sixty eight thousand barrels per day of produced fluid from existing production wells.
The project consisted of first stage two phase separators, heaters, scrubbers, chemical injection
package, desalters, surge vessels, desanding hydrocyclone, deoiling hydrocyclone, produced water
degasser, demulsifier, flares, etc. The facility is monitored and controlled by a control system
consisting of redundant Modicon PLCs and redundant Wonderware HMIs for failsafe operation.
All of the components of the control system are connected via Ethernet.
